How to Register for ClinicalKey

 
 
All Inova Team Members now have access to the ClinicalKey app via their mobile devices courtesy Inova Health Sciences Library. 
About:  The ClinicalKey App provides the ability to quickly access to full-text medical and surgical resources including e-books, journal articles, clinical practice guidelines, point-of-care clinical monographs, procedural guides, images, videos, drug information, and patient education handouts. Users with a registered account may also earn and claim free CME credits. 
Audience:  All clinical team members
 
To use the ClinicalKey mobile app, Inova Team Members must first register for an account via an on-site Inova computer.*
 
  1. On any Inova computer, go to Register - ClinicalKey*
  2. Then, follow directions to complete registration. Registration with your Inova email address is recommended.**
  3. Next, download the app from your device's app store. Select "Organizational Subscription".
  4. Select "ClinicalKey" for the database.
  5. Select "ClinicalKey" as the edition.
  6. Access through "Confirming via Your Institution" or an OpenAthens account. Afterwards you will be redirected to ClinicalKey.
  7. Log in to the app using the username and password you created.
  8. Optional: Once back in the app, select "Register or Sign In" to personalize and save your account information.
