Poster Presentations
An effective poster answers these three questions:
  1. What is this research adding to current knowledge?
  2. What are the key points I want people to know about my research?
  3. How can I visually share my research? Should I use charts, graphs, photos, images?

How-To's & Tips
  • Title is short and draws interest
  • Word count of about 300 to 800 words
  • Text is clear and to the point
  • Use of bullets, numbering, and headlines make it easy to read

Statistics Support

Inova / GMU Statistics Collaborations

Inova has partnered with George Mason University (GMU) to provide statistical support to Inova employees for projects requiring biostatistical support when there is no other alternative funding available (internal/external). This partnership is managed by the Office of Research at Inova (ORI).

All requests to initiate any collaboration with GMU’s statistical experts must be reviewed and approved by the ORI first. To submit a request to the ORI, please complete and submit the linked Application Form (also found on the ORI InovaConnect Page). Priority will be given to projects requiring substantial statistical analyses and/or the simultaneous development of new statistical methodology.
