4th Floor ICU Expansion Project SBAR

Situation: Due to evidence of need of ICU level beds within the Tower, effective 7/11 A Shift the 4th floor will complete a short trial known as the 4th Floor ICU Expansion Project!

Background: An outside data collection of critical care bed needs was performed and showed a need to increase ICU bed coverage within the Tower. 

Action: Collaboration from many different areas including staffing solutions, management, respiratory, clin techs, MCCS, and most notably our nurses in MCCSU and MSICU will be needed for evaluation of the process of this trial.

Recommendation: On weekdays, a daily update meeting will occur at 1630 to discuss any updates with this trial (check your Tatango messages or click the link below). We ask everyone to please complete your Pre-Survey before 7/11 A shift (Link below). We also ask for each team member to complete Post-Shift-Survey after 7/11 A shift to evaluate the process of the 4th Floor ICU Expansion Project (Coming Soon).
